Keeping Tulsa Oklahoma Safe

The battle at the Jail in Tulsa

Well folks it is getting closer to the jail not accepting Tulsa Police Arrested defendants if they wont make a agreement with the County Sheriff Stanley Glantz.  Stanley Glantz and the Sheriffs Office controls and runs David L Moss Jail in Tulsa.  Tulsa City had in the past paid a certain amount to house its inmates as well.  Right now it looks like no one has come to a agreement on how this is all going to get paid.  It looks like from what I ave heard as a Tulsa Bondsman in several meetings that, if a agreement is not reached, then Tulsa Police will not have a place to house its inmates.  I always wondered why not use the old YMCA building in Downtown as a headquarter and Municipal Jail for Tulsa Police and Courts.  Most people do bond out with a bail bond agency in Tulsa anyways.  I think this would have been a great idea for Tulsa.  As a Bondsman i believe that building is Structurally as strong as the Jail, well at least for municipal no violent charges.  It would have been cheaper for Tulsa to placed inmates right across the street from the court house.  For a minimum security building this would have been a good alternative.

People with new charges can be let go and ticketed.

Tulsa County Jail
Basically if this all goes bad unless someone has been charged with a county charge the jail wont accept them.  This is bad news, because most people that do get arrested by Tulsa Police are called no filed charges.  This means that the District Attorney has not had a chance to see if, the Prosecutor has enough proof to file charges on defendant, and to have a case to get a conviction. This is actually pretty scary if you ask me, because if someone did something pretty bad now what.  I think all parties should sit down and really discuss this matter between the Tulsa Police Chief, Chuck Jordan, and Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glantz.  There has to be a resolve to this matter, where it cannot hurt the residents of Tulsa.  Our bail bond Agency is really hoping that this will be a thing of the past.  As a Bondsman in Tulsa I myself get people out on both Municipal and County charges.  It will at least keep some people who work out of the jail and go to work to prepare for court dates.

The Streets of Tulsa can be safe again

If the Tulsa Police and Sheriff would work together instead of against one another, the force they will create would be immense, the streets of Tulsa would be safer, and hardcore criminals will have no choice but to move elsewhere.  This is the main goal that all Tulsa residents want and need.  We have to take back the streets of Tulsa from crimes related to Gangs and Meth, if not I am afraid that this City will be worst then it than ever.  If we all united and talked to the people that were voted in office by the people, they will have to listen.  Voting is good and all but we must make these politicians accountable for our safety.  Speak your mind and get results. please visit our site
